Inside the 7 Day Sugar Detox

I just wrapped up my first live, group challenge, and I am still buzzing from the energy! There is something so powerful about a group of women coming together to reclaim their energy and take a stand for their health.


As we navigated our time together, I noticed something shift. While some started with the goal of "getting through" seven days, by day five, the conversation changed. People weren't just surviving; they were fully engaged, committed and feeling the shift.


The Big Shift: Why I’m Calling it a "Reset"

One of the most frequent questions I get (and one I address throughout the ebook) is: "So, what happens after the 7 days? Am I never eating sugar again?"


That question stuck with me and after chatting with my marketing-brained sister (who also joined the challenge this time around), it led me to a bit of a rebrand. While many call this a "detox," I’ve decided to officially rename this as my 7-Day Sugar Reset.


Here’s why: "Detox" often implies a temporary, grueling period of "doing without" before returning to "normal." But what we experienced wasn't about deprivation. It was about resetting our palates, our blood sugar signals, and our habits. We aren't just flushing things out; we are plugging back into how our bodies are designed to feel.


It’s Not a 7-Day Struggle. It’s a Lifestyle Shift.

The most incredible part of this last round? Many of the ladies decided to keep going for Week 2.

They realized that the "struggle" of the first 48 hours was replaced by a clarity they didn't want to give up. They saw that this wasn't a week-long punishment, but a lifestyle shift. When you realize that you no longer need that 3 p.m. cookie to survive the afternoon, you don't want to go back to the old "normal."
